Kitchen

Chestnut Hills, Toronto

The kitchen was designed to be the centre heartbeat of the home, a common design trend today. To maximize natural light, we incorporated a tall arch window that fills the space with plenty of sunshine. For the island and backsplash, we selected a stunning white and grey veined stone, which we accented with the warm tones of walnut. To keep the look clean and modern, we opted for bright chrome faucets, which add a touch of shine to the space.

Working closely with the trades on site, we developed a clever design to minimize the bulkheads in the kitchen. The vent for the range hood was integrated within the millwork molding to create a clean, streamlined look. We used solid pine for the interior of the drawers and incorporated dovetail construction for added durability. The resulting design is a harmonious blend of classic and contemporary elements, creating a functional and stylish kitchen that is perfect for cooking, entertaining, and everyday living.

Electrical outlets was built into the kitchen island, hidden from plain view, to incorporate functionality into the design for the homeowners. Additionally, the kitchen handles were powder coated in white to add a pop of colour and depth to the design. We sourced the handles separately to create a unique look and feel for the homeowners.
