Feasibility Study
Before commencing the home renovation project, we complete a thorough feasibility study. This study assesses the viability of the project, considering factors such as the structural integrity of the current home, available space, and budget constraints.
Meet with our Client
During the initial consultation and design phase, we meet with the homeowner to discuss their renovation goals, preferences and desired outcomes. Do you have inspiration photos or do you want us to design for you. Either way, our design advice is included for each renovation.
Permits and Drawings
Assess the scope of the renovation project to identify if any major structural changes require permits. If permits are necessary, initiate the process of obtaining the required permits. Otherwise we can begin renovations.
Material, Fixtures and Sub-Contractors
Collaborate with the client to select finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, and other materials for the renovation. Order the chosen materials, ensuring they are of the desired quality and within the client's budget. Line up a reliable team of contractors and negotiate contracts to ensure smooth execution of the renovation project.
Begin Renovations
Once permits (if required) are approved and materials are delivered, we begin the renovation process. Communicate with the client regarding the need to vacate certain areas of the home or consider temporarily relocating during the renovation, depending on the scale and disruption of the project.
Finishing and Interiors
The final step is completing the interior of your home. This is where all the millwork and cabinetry is installed, the hardwood floors, the bathroom tiles, your kitchen island and faucets.
Renovation Clean-up and Handover
Clean and prepare the renovated space for the client's use, ensuring a safe and clean environment. Hand over the renovated space to the client, providing any necessary instructions or maintenance tips for the new features or finishes.
We guarantee you will be satisfied with your Mignon Renovation.
PROJECT LIFECYCLE
A Home Renovation can take between 1-6 months to complete. There are several factors that may affect the timeframe including whether the zoning needs to go to Committee of Adjustment and how long the client takes to make decisions.
